Handango Expands European Operations with Fully Localized Support Wednesday, February 2 2005
LONDON, UK -- February 2, 2005 -- Handango, the leading provider of mobile downloads, announced today the launch of Handango UK (http://www.handango.co.uk), Handango France, (http://www.handango.com/fr) and Handango Germany (http://www.handango.de). The sites feature content and products optimized for each country. These launches support Handango's broader effort to popularize its brand and platform, Handango AMPP, with European consumers, mobile operators and device manufacturers.
Handango's localized sites give Europeans more choice for smart phone and handheld downloads. The storefronts offer more than 50,000 software applications, giving customers an almost endless variety of options to personalize and professionalize their smart phones and handhelds.
Customers also now have access to Handango's selection of exclusive applications and features. Customers can utilize popular features such as Handango's free download backup service and Handango Rewards program, which enables customers to earn credit toward free software with every purchase.

The storefronts are receiving strong local market support already. A network of European sites with more than four million hits per month have joined the Handango Affiliate Network and are supporting the launch through linkage and promotions on their respective sites. These sites include Pocket PC Life, PDA247, Talk Mobile, Nokia 3650, Pocket PC Solutions, Palmware.ru, Winceware.ru, My-cellular and Mobile Bulgaria. Handango France (http://www.handango.com/fr) Handango France features a multitude of French-language applications. Customers with phones from Bouygues Telecom, SFR and Orange are supported at the site, and purchase options now include Carte Bleu. All prices are in Euros with VAT included.
Handango Germany (http://www.handango.de) Handango Germany features an extensive selection of German-language content and many exclusive applications. All prices are in Euros with VAT included. Phones from T-Mobile, Vodafone and E-Plus are supported. Coming later in 2005, customers will be able to purchase using popular local purchase methods such as bank transfer on German bank accounts.
