Nokia today announced that it has shipped its highly anticipated and critically acclaimed WWII strategy game for the N-Gage platform, Pathway to Glory. This action-packed game will hit stores this week around the world. Exclusive to the N-Gage platform, Pathway to Glory features innovative and unique ways for gamers around the globe to connect, compete, cooperate and communicate in the online multiplayer game mode.

"Pathway to Glory truly showcases all that is unique about the N-Gage platform," says Gerard Wiener, Director, Network Game Solutions, Nokia. "We are very proud of this game and with the work that the Nokia development team and Red Lynx have done in creating the world's first mobile connected strategy game."

"Red Lynx has shown excellent commitment and expertise in developing this revolutionary game," says Toni Virhiä, Senior Producer, Games, Nokia. "They have really understood the N-Gage platform and have utilized it in innovative ways."

Players can connect to collaborate and compete in the Global Battle Ground via the N-Gage Arena, with support for up to 6 players with a total of 48 soldiers and several vehicles in a single battleground. Up to six players can also fight it out in the local multiplayer mode via Bluetooth wireless technology. Pathway to Glory is packed with innovative features, including the world's first mobile in-game voice communication with the Field Radio feature. This feature enables gamers to send voice messages to each other during the game, which get transmitted as a though a player's N-Gage game deck was acting as a field radio.

Pathway to Glory enthusiasts can also visit the in-depth community website created for the game at www.pathwaytoglory.com to get more information and download a playable preview version of the game. The site is filled with news, tips, hints, game reviews, maps and even an encyclopedia of everything you need to know about Pathway to Glory.

Gamers had a sneak peak of Pathway to Glory in August 2004 with a free two level demo available on the website. Generating over 20,000 downloads in the first few days, the demo showed off the lavish attention to detail in the game and generate significant excitement among the N-Gage gaming community.
