Berlin, Germany, October 12 -- Nova media toady announced Palm TX support for Mobile High Speed and Cost Control. These software packages allow a Palm TX Handheld user to gain instant mobile online access and get into control of arising costs for WiFi or 3G UMTS, EDGE or GPRS online connections.
Mobile High Speed configures a Palm TX Handheld to connect to the Internet using a mobile phone and already includes more than 200 connections settings for most mobile operators in the world. The software features SMS and Tap-dial support as well and includes a Bluetooth-pairing wizard for a hassle-free online experience with most mobile phones available today.
Cost Control tracks time and volume information for any 3G UMTS, EDGE or GPRS online session by a mobile phone as well as by WiFi access, making it the ideal partner for any Palm TX around the world. The tool can report the status of the current connection including the IP address and the connection speed. And with the tip of a pen it will calculate the online sessions costs based on the users billing information.
Furthermore Cost Control creates a monthly statistic as well as detailed information for any single connection. Cost Control is integrated into the command bar to gain a quick overview of the spent online time and data volume of the current online session from any application.
